Service Description: The Virginia Geographic Information Network (VGIN) has coordinated and manages thedevelopment of a consistent, seamless, statewide digital road centerline file with address, roadname, and state route number attribution, as part of the Virginia Base Mapping Program (VBMP).The Road Centerline Program (RCL) leverages the Commonwealth's investment in the VBMPdigital orthophotography and is focused on creating a single statewide, consistent digital roadfile. The VA_CENTERLINE_SNAP_POINT represents an XY point feature that participants of theRCL program will agree to maintain and snap their centerline data to. This will provide seamlessdata exchange via the RCL data set.
